Soldaten, heraus!

Ich wollt' und ich schliefe 
In meinem Quartier,
Ich wollt' und mir träumte, 
Mein Schätzel, von dir!

Sonst war ich nicht traurig, 
War lustig wie du;
Heut drückt der Tornister,
Und morgen der [Schuh.]¹

ressonen dins la casa,
insten, criden:
soldats, a fora!

Volia restar dormint
al meu al meu quarter,
volia restar somiant
en tu, tresor meu!

Altrament no estava trist,
estava alegre com tu;
avui em prem la motxilla
i demà les sabates.

Però per què m’haig de plànyer?
Ara és massa tard,
ara vaig a la guerra,
sóc un soldat!
