by Christian Winther (1796 - 1876)

Jeg længes efter dig min Ven!
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Jeg længes efter dig min Ven!
Og kommer du ei snart igjen,
Saa maa jeg plat forsage;
Mit Liv har mistet al sin Duft,
Det trykker som en Tordenluft,
Og Sangen bliver Klage.

Vort Huus er mig saa luunt og godt
Som Tommelidens Tommeltot,
Naar du kuns er derinde;
Men er du borte, uden Ro
Min Tanke flagrer fra sin Bo
For alle fire Vinde.

Jeg længes, ak! saa inderlig,
Dig, faur og fiin og elskelig,
Tæt til mit Bryst at trykke;
Du dufterige Blomsterskud,
Mit sikkre Leidebrev hos Gud,
Mit Livs, min Tankes Smykke!
