Das Buchenblatt
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FIN
Nun hat es sich gewendet
das grüne Buchenblatt,
nun hat es sich geendet,
was mich erfreuet hat.

Die Rose hat verloren
die roten Blüten all,
was du mir hast geschworen,
es war ein leerer Schall.

Das Blatt am Buchenbaume
gibt keinen Schatten mehr,
dem allerschönsten Traume
blüht keine Wiederkehr.

Pyökinlehti
Language: Finnish (Suomi)  after the German (Deutsch)
Nyt se on lakastunut,
se vihreä pyökinlehti,
nyt kaikki se on lopussa,
mistä olen iloinnut.

Ruusu on menettänyt
kaikki punaiset kukkansa,
se mitä minulle vannoit,
olikin vain tyhjää kuminaa.

Pyökinlehti
ei enää luo varjoa,
kaikkein kauneimmat unelmat
eivät enää palaa.
