Wanderlust
Language: German (Deutsch)
O Lust, im Lenz zu wandern
mit frohem Sing und Sang
von einem Berg zum andern,
im grünen Tal entlang,

hoch über sich zu schauen
das blaue Himmelszelt,
tief unten blüh'nde Auen,
die weite, schöne Welt.

Und ziehen Mond und Sterne
auf weite Wand'rung aus,
dann winket uns von ferne
ein gastlich off'nes Haus.

„Herr Wirt, ein Glas vom Rheine,
vom besten Alten bringt,
dass gut bei gutem Weine
ein heimisch Lied erklingt!“
