Hon är född vid Öresund uti danska landet, men en svensk är hennes herre, och hon bor på Stockholms grund. I en vacker bokträdslund var det som de möttes, Donnis herre och hans vovve, då en liten vilsen hund. Kärlek band dem hop på stund, kärlek öm och trogen. Hem och namn fick lilla Donni och är nu en lycklig hund.
