Ungewissheit
Language: German (Deutsch)
Der Blütenduft
durchwürzt die Luft,
aus heißer Kehle
singt Philomele
am Silberbach
ihr zärtlich Ach!

O klage nicht!
Im Dämmerlicht
steigt aus den Wellen,
den spiegelhellen,
ein freundlich Bild,
so zart, so mild!

Im Nebelkleid
schwebt's nah' und weit,
bald hell, bald trüber
dem Blick vorüber;
ich sinne nach
mit bangem Ach!

Ach, ist es sie?
O wär' es sie!
O gaukle näher
dem trunk'nen Späher,
du freundlich Bild
so zart, so mild!

Du sinkst, du steigst,
du rufst, du schweigst,
du kommst und schwindest,
ach - ach, verschwindest!
Wohin? Wohin?
Du Zauberin!
