Abend schlummert auf der Flur, nur ein Stern hält oben Wacht, und der Strom, von ihm beglänzt, fließt wie Silber durch die Nacht. Wäre doch der Strom dein Herz, ich der Stern mit treuem Sinn! Ach, sooft er niederblickt, findet er sein Bild darin.
