by Ferenc Kölcsey (1790 - 1838)

Busan csörög a lomb
Language: Hungarian (Magyar)
Busan csörög a lomb,
Mert fú szél;
Sűrűn dobog e szív,
Mert búm kél.
Kárpát kebeléből
A szél fú;
Tőled, szerelem jön ez éjjeli bú.

Lyány sziklakemény, lyány
Csillagszép,
Nem látod-e kínom,
Mely dúl s tép?
Nem szánod-e kínom,
Mely tép s dúl,
S felforrva szememben ez arczra lehull?

Hajh rózsa, piroslik
Lángorczád,
Jer, könnye szememnek
Forrjon rád!
Hervadva hevétől,
Mely átfut,
Majd adsz temetőmre halottkoszorút!
