Geborn ist Gottes Söhnelein,
zu Bethlehem ein Kindelein,
und liegt in einem Krippelein,
gewunden arm in Windelein

Darüber läßt uns fröhlich sein
und machen ihm ein Wiegelein
nämlichen unsers Herzens Schrein,
daß er darinne ruhe fein.

So wiegen wir dich, Jesulein;
wie sehn mich an dein Engelein?
Wie hast weißrote Wängelein?
Wie reichest mir dein Händelein?

Nun laßt uns singen und sein froh
mit den Spielern in Organo
und mit den Sängern in Choro:
Benedicamus Domino.
