Vi Sejr og Bytte bringe hjem
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Vi Sejr og Bytte bringe hjem,
Hurra! Hurra! Hurra!
Som Oldtidskæmper brød vi frem
til vore Fjenders sikre Gem
og tog saa drøje Tag med dem,
at de fik nok dera’.
De skal ej brænde Byer fler,
thi deres "Gryder" har vi her,
og derfor vi svinge med Huer og Flag
til Ære for vort Fredericiaslag,

Vort Løfte har vi ærlig holdt,
Hurra! Hurra! Hurra!
Har Tysken Nød og Tort os voldt,
i Nat har vi Afregning holdt,
og Danmark kan nu pege stolt
paa Fredericia.
I hundred Aar har Ærens Bavn
som nu ej funklet fra dets Navn,
og ned gennem Tiden til sildigste Dag
gaar Mindet om vort Fredericiaslag,

For Kongen og vort Fædreland,
Hurra ! Hurra! Hurra!
Lad Fjender flokkes tykt som Sand,
naar fast vi stande Mand ved Mand,
og vil for Alvor, hvad vi kan,
de Landet ej skal ta’e:
Thi Kræfter vokse af dets Bund,
og Folkets Aand er kæk og sund.
Ja, kalder igen vor retfærdige Sag,
saa slaa vi et nyt Fredericiaslag!
