Wildrosen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wär ich ein Knab geboren,
So zög ich in den Streit
Und trüg am Eisenhute
Zur grünen Sommerszeit
Wildrosen, wilde Rosen!

Das Banner wollt ich tragen
Voran der kecken Schar,
Darein mit Purpurseide
Stickt ich ein brennend Paar
Wildrosen, wilde Rosen!

Zum Himmel Herz und Hände
Und an den Feind im Lauf;
Da blühn im Wettersturme
An blanken Klingen auf
Wildrosen, wilde Rosen!

Der Sieg ist uns erstritten,
Verklungen Horn und Hieb,
Im Kranz komm ich geschritten,
Draus brech ich meinem Lieb
Wildrosen, wilde Rosen!
