Der Liebe Erwachen

 Ihr fragt, was Großes ich erdenke,
Und wundert euch, dieweil ihr schaut,
Daß auf die Brust das Haupt ich senke
Und schweige, der ich sonst so laut. 

O quält mich länger nicht mit Fragen,
Warum noch unberührt der Wein!
Und was ich sinne?  Laßt's euch sagen: 
Ich blick' nur in mein Herz hinein. 

Ein Sonnenstrahl nahm seine Wege
Durch mein verdüstertes Gemüth,
Da ist aus wildem Dorngehege
Still eine Rose mir erblüht.
