Grüß' Gott, ihr lieben [Haine]4, Grüss Gott, du dunkler Wald, Ihr [Dörfer und ihr Raine]5, Ihr Berge, grau und alt. Nicht länger könnt' ich tragen Die Sehnsucht in der Brust. Wer fänd' bei solchen Tagen In [dumpfen]6 Häusern Lust? Nun rauscht, ihr [grünen]7 Bäume, Nun duft', du bunter Hain, Nun [schließt, ihr lieben Räume, Nur gar den Wand'rer ein]8. Nun singt die hellsten Lieder, Ihr Vöglein in den Höh'n, wer weiß es, ob wir wieder uns je so [fröhlich]9 seh'n?!
