by Karl Stieler (1842 - 1885)

Am Waldbach
Language: German (Deutsch)
Am Waldbach sitz' ich in der Sonnen
Mir ist mein ganzes Glück zerronnen!

Es fließt so leicht der Bach vorbei,
So leicht zerfließt die Lieb', die Treu'?!

Es rauscht um mich der Morgenwind,
Die Jugend auch verrauscht, verrinnt.

Es rieselt gelbes Laub vom Baum;
Wird alles welk, ist alles Traum?

Ich sitz' am Waldbach in der Sonnen,
Mir ist mein ganzes Glück zerronnen!
