Der Engel kam mit einer schmalen Laute,
das goldgestickte Kleid floss um ihn her,
sie aber war bewegt und bebte sehr,
da sie den Glanz der goldnen Locken schaute.

Sie neigte betend ihren schlanken Hals
und heilt die blauen Augen an der Erde,
sie wagte leise kaum zu atmen, als
er sie erhob mit grüssender Gebärde.
