by F. Fiorentino

Tutto per me sei tu!
Language: Italian (Italiano)
Chiesi ai pianetiun raggio,
ad una bella il cor,
alle stagioni il maggio,
ed il profumo ai fior.

Una romita stella
si volse a me dal ciel;
„Garzone alla tua bella
farò di luce un vel.“

E un bottoncin di rosa
lieto mi pispigliò:
„Garzone, alla tua sposa
il seno adornerò.“

La lodola errabonda
intesi mormorar:
„La tua fanciulla bionda
ti dovrà sempre amar.“

La vaga primavera
mi susurrò così:
„Per l'anima che spera
vien maggio ad ogni dì.“

Ed ora, o mia fanciulla,
aprimi il ciel quaggiù,
per me la terra è nulla,
tutto per me sei tu.
