by Richard von Kralik (1852 - 1934)

Ostara
Language: German (Deutsch)
Jetzt, da der Tag über die Nacht
wieder gewonnen hat die Schlacht,
und Ostara, so königlich,
vollmondbestrahlt und sonntäglich
das Fest des Wiederkehrens feiert,
und alles Wesen sich erneuert,
da Gott aufsteigt aus seinem Grab;
was Wunder, dass [ich mich auch]1 hab'
entschlossen, wieder aufzusteh'n
und wieder in die Welt zu seh'n,
mich wiederum emporzuschwingen,
wieder zu lieben und zu singen.
