En goûtant la fraicheur

Il fait plus frais 
Allons attendre la lune à l’ouest du pavillon aux vives couleurs
La brise chargée du parfum lotus 
     nous caresse le visage de son souffle
Pour la première fois, la salle en bois de cannelier a perdu
    son atmosphère brûlante.
Quel est celui d’entre nous qui saura chanter un poème
    sur un palais fait de neige?
De pures odeurs emplissent le pavillon.
Les tranches de pastèque semblent de jade.
La lune éclatante monte dans le vide, 
     pareille a une couple d’or débordant de liqueur
Sans la fraicheur de la nuit 
    nous ne pourrions prétendre à si douce griserie
Mais déjà un voile de couleurs automnales 
     couvre le bouquet touffu des bambous.
