dicht unterm Dach,
sitzt ein Weib
am geduckten Fenster
und näht.

Früh
in das steigende Licht,
spät
in die fallende Nacht.

Manchmal
blickt es vom Schoße auf
und verloren hinaus
auf die Dächer –
die Wolken –
die Ewigkeit.

Ich kann
sein Auge nicht sehn,
aber ich fühle den Blick –
ich blicke ihn mit,
den zehrenden Blick
auf die Dächer –
die Wolken –
die Ewigkeit ...
