Häiweh
Language: Swiss German (Schwizerdütsch)
Liisli schliich i über d'Straße
und i wäiß nüd, was i will.
Lustig gahd's in allne Gasse
i min Herzli ist es still,
und es chlagt und chlopfet schwer:
Wänn i nu diheime wer!

D'Glogge lüüted über's Stettli,
fiirli, tönts i d'Abigrueh.
Langsam schlüüff i i mis Bettli,
und i lose truurig zue,
und i chehr mi hin und her:
Wänn i nu diheime wer!

Früntli winkt mer na mis Schätzli
us em usem Rähmli a der Wand,
rüeft mer an es Schatteplätzli,
und es Tröpfli fallt uf d'Hand,
und dä wirds mer erst recht schwer:
Wänn i nu diheime wer!
