The heavens are driving silvery balls Full of the purest light through the waters. Deftly we reef the grey sails And Frauenburg remains behind us: The fairy-tale city of narrow streets, Of cathedral canons and of fisher-folk, Upon crooked, arched terraces Strewn with opals of light. The lagoon scuffles lazily in the reeds. The boat lies upon the wide waves. We have lost the concept of time; We sail eastward, free of time.
