Und nun wird es wieder grün, Und die bunten Blumen blüh'n: Blümlein gelb und roth und blau, Seid gegrüßt in Feld und Au! Und was flattert durch die Luft Lustig nach dem Frühlingsduft? Schmetterling' im Sonnenstrahl, Seid gegrüßt viel tausendmal! Und der Vogel singt sein Lied, Freut sich, daß der Winter schied: Vöglein, singt durch Berg und Thal, Seid gegrüßt viel tausendmal! Frühling, und so grüß' ich dich, Denn du kamst ja auch für mich, Gabst mir Freuden ohne Zahl, Sei gegrüßt viel tausendmal!
