Die Birkenzweige wehen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  ENG
Die Birkenzweige wehen
Im Winde hin und her,
Jung Harolds Augen sehen
Träumend hinunter in's Meer.

Wie rollen nach fernen Weiten
Die Wellen dahin ohne Rast!--
So fliehen der Jugend Zeiten
In unaufhaltsamer Hast.

Es wehet der Wind nach Norden
Hin über die Täler und Höh'n.--
Wie hold ist Ella geworden,
Wie wunderlieblich und schön!
