Translation

Im Vorfrühlinge
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the German (Deutsch)
Es glänzt das Gras im lichten Tau,
der Tau im Sonnen-Gold,
der Weidekätzchen Silbergrau
guckt an mich wunderhold.

Die Berge stehn im weißen Hut,
fern prangt der blaue Wald,
auf weiten Fluren wohlgemut
der Lerche Wirbel schallt.

Die Knospen am Johannis-Strauch
versprengen würz'gen Duft,
nun stirbt dahin im milden Hauch
die frost'ge Winterluft.

Die Well' im Murmel-Bache springt,
sie singt und springt empor,
mir zuckend aus der Wimper dringt
manch' süße Trän' hervor.
