Schwabenmädchen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Schwabenmädchen, Schwabenmädchen:
Immer seh' ich Dich am Rädchen,
Mit dem Füßchen tretend sacht;
Sehe spinnend Dich am Rocken,
Mit dem Schmuck der gold'nen Locken
Und der blauen Augen Pracht!

Hohe Glut auf Deinen Wangen,
Mutter war hinausgegangen,
Alles um uns her so stumm;
Warst mir gar ein holdes Schätzchen,
Dir zu Füßen bog das Kätzchen
Den gefleckten Rücken krumm.

Schwabenmädchen, Schwabenmädchen,
O, Du spannst ein feines Fädchen,
Brachtest mich um alle Ruh';
Hast mit Deiner Augen Sonnen,
Statt des Garnes mich gewonnen
Und mein ganzes Herz dazu!
