Waldasyl
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ach aus dem Gewühle
  In den tiefen Wald
Treibt mich der Gefühle
  Drängende Gewalt;
Schmerzlich mir ergreifen
  Will sie Herz und Sinn,
Zwingt zu flieh'n, zu schweifen
  Weiter, ach, und weiter hin!

Endlich ferner brauset
  Mir der Lärm der Welt!
O wie traut umsauset
  Mich das grüne Zelt!
Wo der Wald am tiefsten,
  Steht ein Wunderbaum,
Und in seinen Wipfeln
  Weht der Liebe schönster Traum.
