Lasă-ţi furca-n buruiene Şi-mi sai iute cel pârău. Să culegem împreună, Tu, fragi roşi de prin păşună, Eu, crini albi pe sânul tău. Ici, în lunca înverzită, Este-o iarbă înflorită Ce se-ngână c-un izvor. Vină-n iarbă, mândruliţă, Eu, să-ţi cânt doina, doiniţă, Tu, să plângi de dulce dor!
