by Friedrich Güll (1812 - 1879)

Will das Kind ein wenig warten
Language: German (Deutsch)
Will das Kind ein wenig warten,
Kauft der Vater einen Garten.
In dem Garten steht ein Baum,
Droben ist ein Nest von Flaum.

Drinnen sitzt ein Papagei
Tag und Nacht auf einem Ei.
Wenn er morgen weiter hüpft,
Kommt ein Vöglein 'raus geschlüpft.
Potz mit einem rothen Köpflein
Und mit einem gelben Schöpflein.

Und das pappert
Girrt
und schnattert,
Und das plappert,
Schwirrt
und flattert
Just vorbei an mir,
Gradenwegs zu dir.
