Lune magique
Language: French (Français)
Dès que plus un bruit
N'éveille la nuit,
Que l'astre au ciel luit,
Changeant,
Et que, par l'allée
De brume voilée,
La mousse est criblée
D'argent,
Sous les clartés blanches,
Ecartant les branches,
Svelte et de pervenches

Coiffée,
Frôlant les forêts
De son pas discret,
"Voici qu'apparaît
La Fée...

Dans le clair-obscur
Un blond rayon sur
Sa robe d'azur
Se rit,
El caresse et moire
Son beau corps d'ivoire

Dont la jeune gloire
Fleurit.

Derrière s'élance,
Eclos du silence,
Ce que sa puissance

Protège,
Nains, sylphes, qui font
Par vol et par bond
Comme un vagabond

Cortège.

Mais la Fée a vu
Briller -- épandu
Sous le bras tordu

Qu'étend,
Protecteur, un chêne --
Ridé par l'haleine
De l'ombre sereine,

L'étang.

Comme s'y déploie
Le ciel qui chatoie,
Elle effleure, en joie,

L'eau brune,
Et de ses doigts blancs
Cueille, à gestes lents,
Des reflets tremblants
De lune...
