Man siger, hjertet har ej rum
på samme tid til tvende.
Men Amor er vist ej så dum,
og hans raison er denne:
At flere sværme for én man ser,
nu vel, så kan én og sværme for fler,
den slutning er rigtig og vigtig.

Man siger vel, i samme sæk
kan ej to store være,
med deraf jeg udleder kæk
en anden bedre lære:
en stor og en lille kan trives deri,
og store sække har plads til ti,
vist ingen vil trætte mod dette.

Den fordel er jo ligefrem,
at man på tvende tænker,
så trøster man ved én af dem
sig for den andens rænker.
Og bliver den ene nu vred og sur,
så får den anden igen sin tur,
så mister ej manden forstanden.
