Paa Fjellet
Language: Norwegian (Bokmål)
Hu hei! kor er det vel friskt og lett
upp aa fjellet.
Her leikar vinden i kaate sprett
upp aa fjellet,
og foten dansar og augat lær,
og hjartat kveikjande hugnad fær
upp aa fjellet.

Kom upp! kom upp fraa den tronge dal
upp aa fjellet.
Her blæs ein blaaster so frisk og sval
upp aa fjellet,
og lidi skin utav blomar full,
og soli drys alt sit fagre gull
upp aa fjellet.

Og naar so soli til kvila gjeng
attum fjellet,
daa reida skuggarne upp si seng
attmed fjellet.
Daa gidrar alt i ein straalestraum,
og hjartat sveiper seg inn i draum
upp aa fjellet.

"Aa kjære kom til meg
upp aa fjellet!
Eg sit so lengtande etter deg
upp aa fjellet!
kom, svala med meg, til dat verd ljost,
daa stryker otten ifraa mitt brjost
her paa fjellet, kom upp!"
