Hei nû kumet uns diu zît, der kleinen vogellîne sanc.
ez gruonet wol diu linde breit, zergangen ist der winter lanc.
nû siht man bluomen wol getân, an der heide üebent si ir schîn.
des wirt vil manic herze frô, des selben troestet sich daz[ ] mîn.

Ich bin dir lange holt gewesen, frouwe biderbe unde guot.
vil wol ich daz bestatet hân! dû hâst getiuret mînen muot.
swaz ich dîn bezzer worden sî, ze heile müez ez mir ergân.
machest dû daz ende guot, sô hâst dû ez allez wol getân.

Man sol die biderben und die guoten ze allen zîten haben liep.
swer sich gerüemet alze vil, der kan der besten mâze niet.
joch sol ez niemer hövescher man gemachen allen wîben guot.
er ist sîn selbes meister niht, swer sîn alze vil getuot.

Ûf der linden obene dâ sanc ein kleinez vogellîn,
vor dem walde wart ez lût. dô huop sich aber daz herze mîn
an eine stat, dâ ez ê dâ was. ich sach die rôsenbluomen stân,
die manent mich der gedanke vil, die ich hin ze einer frouwen hân.

Ez dunkent mich wol tûsent jâr, daz ich an liebes arme lac.
sunder alle mîn schulde frömedet er mich alle tac.
sît ich bluomen niht ensach noch hôrte kleiner vogellîn sanc,
sît was al mîn fröide kurz und ouch der jâmer alze lanc.
