Im Garten Gottes
wirft ein Born
sein Silber
Tag und Nacht empor:
Ohn Maßen stürzt
die Flut hinauf
und fällt zurück,
ein Perlenmeer.

Urewig türmt
der Strahl sich ab
und baut sich wieder
aus sich selbst,
urewig kreißt
der Schoß und nimmt
Empfängnis
von der eignen Frucht.

In Silberschauern
wirbeln sich
Legionen Tropfen
durch den Raum ...
Im Garten Gottes
spielt ein Born
gedankenlos
das Spiel der Welt.

un puits jette
son argent
en l'air, jour et nuit :
Le flot jaillit
en l'air sans retenue
et retombe
une mer de perles.

De toute éternité le jet
se démantèle
et se reconstruit
de lui même,
de toute éternité ses entrailles
tournoient et conçoivent
à partir
de leur propre fruit.

Avec des frissons argentés
des légions de gouttes
tourbillonnent
dans l'espace ...
Dans le jardin de Dieu
un puits joue
distraitement
au jeu du monde.
