5 Lieder für Alt (oder Bariton) mit Pianoforte , opus 83

by Ferdinand Gumbert (1818 - 1896)

1. Kein Hälmlein wächst  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
Kein Hälmlein wächst auf Erden,
Der Himmel hat's betaut,
Und kann kein Blümlein werden,
Die Sonne hat's erschaut.

Wenn du auch tief beklommen
In Waldesnacht allein:
Einst wird von Gott dir kommen
Dein Tau und Sonnenschein.

Dann sproßt, was dir indessen
Als Keim im Herzen lag,
So ist kein Ding vergessen,
Ihm kommt ein Blütentag.
