Zweistimmige Lieder , opus 8

by Wilhelm Hülle

Translations available for the entire opus: FRE

2. Duett  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
Wie die Nelken duftig atmen!
Wie die Sterne, ein Gewimmel
Goldner Bienen, ängstlich schimmern
An dem veilchenblauen Himmel!

Aus dem Dunkel der Kastanien
Glänzt das Landhaus, weiß und lüstern,
Und ich hör die Glastür klirren
Und die liebe Stimme flüstern.

Holdes Zittern, süßes Beben,
Furchtsam zärtliches Umschlingen -
Und die jungen Rosen lauschen,
Und die Nachtigallen singen.

Text Authorship:

  • by Heinrich Heine (1797 - 1856), no title, appears in Neue Gedichte, in Neuer Frühling, no. 26
