Saß ich und sann.
War einst mein Tag wie ein Traum.
Aber das Träumen verrann.

Stand auf und hob die Brust.
Leben ist schwer!
Sagt immer nur: "Du mußt!"
Hört nie: "Ich kann nicht mehr."
