3. Wieder  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
Wieder die ersten sonnigen Hauche,
Lockend hinaus vor die düstere Stadt;
Wieder am zitternden, treibenden Strauche
Die ersten Knospen, das erste Blatt.

Wieder auf leis' ergrünenden Hängen
Ersten Veilchens lieblicher Fund;
Wieder mit ersten Jubelgesängen
Hebt sich die Lerche vom scholligen Grund.

Werdenden Frühlings verkündende Zeichen,
Alte Genossen von Lust und Schmerz,
Ach, wie entzückt ihr, ihr ewig Gleichen,
Ewig auf's neue das Menschenherz!

Text Authorship:

  • by Ferdinand von Saar (1833 - 1906), "Wieder!", appears in Lieder
