Schön willkommen lieber Tag,
Den mir Gott will senden!
Was in dir auch kommen mag, --
'S kommt von Gottes Händen!
Wird mir Leides zugesandt,
Weiß ich: Liebe schickt es;
Und ein Glück aus lieber Hand,
Doppelt süß erquickt es.
Und wo fand' ich lieb're Hand,
Als die treue Rechte,
Auch für mich an's Kreuz gespannt,
Daß sie Heil mir brächte!
Und die Allmachtshand ist sie,
Stark ob allen Dingen;
Frisch, mein Herz! verzage nie!
Alles wird gelingen.
