Les rivières riaient, de village en village,
Déplaçant les reflets, mêlant les paysages
Au plus pur de leurs eaux,
Puis les emportaient tous, les jetaient pêle-mêle
Au milieu de la mer
Et les toits des maisons, les bouleaux naufragés
Et quelques baldaquins
Qui n'étaient que mirages
Rassasiaient fort mal le ventre des requins.
