Trois Mélodies pour chant et piano sur des textes de poètes luxembourgeois

by Lou Koster (1889 - 1973)

Pluie sur l'eau
(Sung text for setting by L. Koster)
 Matches original text

Language: French (Français)
Sur les feuilles et sur l'eau,
la pluie joue un pizzicato;
le vent l'accompagne en andante,
crescendo, decrescendo.

Sur les rives, les roseaux
semblent danser des valses lentes,
amoroso,
et le lent heurt de leurs sveltesses
bruit impérialement
comme traînes de soie d'altesses.

Et la forêt comme une aïeule,
avec au front un navrement,
maestoso, bougonne seule.

Au doux andante
que le vent chante
con amore,
la pluie se berce
et se renverse
elangourée.

Comme accompagnement de basse,
un chœur de grenouilles coasse,
et saugrenu, pianissimo
sous les feuilles et dans l'eau.
