Und ringt die Hände, vor Schmerzensgewalt;

가슴 뜯으며 괴롬에 떠네.
두려워, 그 얼굴 볼 수 없네.
달빛에 새겨 있는 내 모습.

너, 그림자야, 창백한 친구야!
왜 너도 겪니, 내 아픔?
괴롬 속에 이렇게 선 채
수많은 밤 지새웠던?
