La rosa, el lliri, el colom, el sol,
en altre temps els havia estimat tots amb delit.
Ara, ja no els estimo, només estimo
la petita, la xamosa, la casta, l'única.
Ella mateixa, essent la font de l'amor,
és rosa, lliri, colom i sol.
