Schlafe, schlaf ein, Leiser [rauscht]3 der Hain, Ewig bin ich dein. Schweigt, ihr versteckten Gesänge, Und stört nicht die süßeste Ruh'! Reposa, dolç amor, a l’ombra de la verda nit crepuscular: l’herba xiuxiueja a les prades, l’ombra et venta i et refresca i et vetlla un fidel amor. Dorm, adorm-te, fluixet remoreja el boscatge, i jo seré teu per sempre. Calleu, cants escondits, i no destorbeu el seu dolç repòs! La munió d’ocells escolta, es calmen els forts cants, tanca, estimada, els teus ulls. Dorm, adorm-te, al besllum del crepuscle, jo seré el teu guardià. Seguiu mormolant, melodies, i remoreja, tu, rierol tranquil. Belles fantasies d’amor parlen en les melodies, tendres somnis suren al seu darrere. Per el boscatge que xiuxiueja, voletegen abelles daurades i bugonen per fer-te adormir.
