Catalan (Català) translations of Hermann Hesse-Lieder, 3. Folge, opus 310

by Oskar Baumann

1. Blätter wehen vom Baume
 (Sung text)
by Oskar Baumann , "Blätter wehen vom Baume", op. 310 no. 1 (1947) [ voice and piano ]
Language: German (Deutsch)
Blätter wehen vom Baume,
Lieder vom Lebenstraume
Wehen spielend dahin;
Vieles ist untergegangen,
Seit wir zuerst sie sangen,
Zärtliche Melodien.

Sterblich sind auch die Lieder,
Keines tönt ewig wieder,
Alle verweht der Wind:
Blumen und Schmetterlinge,
Die unvergänglicher Dinge
Flüchtiges Gleichnis sind.

1.
Language: Catalan (Català)
Fulles voleien de l’arbre,
cançons del somni de la vida
suren jogasseres enllà;
moltes coses han deixat d’existir
des que primer les vàrem cantar,
tendres melodies.

Mortals són també les cançons,
cap d’elles sona de nou per sempre,
totes se les enduu el vent:
flors i papallones
que són el símil fugaç
de les coses imperibles.

Wo mag meine Heimat sein?
Meine Heimat ist klein,
Geht von Ort zu Ort,
Nimmt mein Herz mit sich fort,
Gibt mir Weh, gibt mir Ruh;
Meine Heimat bist du.

2. Cançó d’amor
Language: Catalan (Català)
On pot ser la meva pàtria?
La meva pàtria és petita,
va d’un lloc a l’altre,
em roba el cor,
em fa mal, m’assossega;
tu ets la meva pàtria.

3. Blauer Schmetterling
 (Sung text)
by Oskar Baumann , "Blauer Schmetterling", op. 310 no. 3 (1947) [ voice and piano ]
Language: German (Deutsch)
Flügelt ein kleiner blauer
Falter vom Wind geweht,
Ein perlmutterner Schauer,
Glitzert, flimmert, vergeht.
So mit Augenblicksblinken,
So im Vorüberwehn
Sah ich das Glück mir winken,
Glitzern, flimmern, vergehn.

3. Papallona blava
Language: Catalan (Català)
Una petita papallona blava aleteja
portada pel vent,
un tremolor nacrat
que guspireja, titil·la, s’esvaneix.
Així, amb un fugaç esclat,
així, amb un hàlit passatger,
he vist com la felicitat em feia signes,
guspirejant, titil·lant, esvanint-se.

4. Wie sind die Tage schwer!
 (Sung text)
by Oskar Baumann , "Wie sind die Tage schwer!", op. 310 no. 4 (1947) [ voice and piano ]
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wie sind die Tage schwer!
An keinem Feuer kann ich erwarmen,
Keine Sonne lacht mir mehr,
Ist alles leer,
Ist alles kalt und ohne Erbarmen,
Und auch die lieben klaren
Sterne schauen mich trostlos an,
Seit ich im Herzen erfahren,
Daß Liebe sterben kann.

4. Que penosos són aquests dies!
Language: Catalan (Català)
Que penosos són aquests dies!
Cap foc no em pot escalfar,
cap sol no em somriu ja,
tot és buit,
tot és fred i sense pietat,
i fins i tot les estimades, clares
estrelles m’esguarden amb desconsol,
des que el meu cor va saber
que l'amor pot morir.

5. Bitte
 (Sung text)
by Oskar Baumann , "Bitte", op. 310 no. 5 (1947) [ voice and piano ]

5. Súplica
Language: Catalan (Català)
Quan tu em dones la teva petita mà
que diu tantes coses no dites,
t’he mai preguntat
si m’estimes?

No vull pas que tu m’estimis,
només vull saber-te prop de mi
i que, de tant en tant, silenciosa i dolçament
em donis la mà.

6. Traum
 (Sung text)
by Oskar Baumann , "Traum", op. 310 no. 6 (1947) [ voice and piano ]
Language: German (Deutsch)
Es ist immer derselbe Traum:
Ein rotblühender Kastanienbaum,
Ein Garten, voll von Sonnenflor,
Einsam ein altes Haus davor.

Dort, wo der stille Garten liegt,
Hat meine Mutter mich gewiegt;
Vielleicht - es ist so lange her -
Steht Garten, Haus und Baum nicht mehr.

Vielleicht geht jetzt ein Wiesenweg
Und Pflug und Egge drüber weg,
Von Heimat, Garten, Haus und Baum
Ist nichts geblieben als mein Traum.

6. Somni
Language: Catalan (Català)
Sempre és el mateix somni:
un castanyer en vermella floració,
un jardí ple d’assolellades flors,
i al davant, solitària, una casa vella.

Allà, on hi ha el jardí tranquil,
la meva mare em bressolava;
potser —fa tant de temps—
el jardí, la casa i l'arbre ja no hi són.

Potser ara un camí dels prats
i l'arada i el rascle hi passen,
de la llar, el jardí, la casa i l'arbre
no en resta res, només el meu somni.
