Catalan (Català) translations of Sechs Lieder für mittlere Singstimme, opus 44

by August Reuss (1871 - 1935)

1. Spruch
 (Sung text)
by August Reuss (1871 - 1935), "Spruch", op. 44 (Sechs Lieder für mittlere Singstimme) no. 1, published 1924 [ medium voice and piano ]
Language: German (Deutsch)
So mußt Du allen Dingen
Bruder und Schwester sein,
Daß sie dich ganz durchdringen,
Daß du nicht scheidest Mein und Dein.

Kein Stern, kein Laub soll fallen --
Du mußt mit ihm vergehn!
So wirst du auch mit allen
Allstündlich auferstehn.

1. Proverbi
Language: Catalan (Català)
Així, tu de totes les coses
has de ser germà i germana,
perquè et penetrin completament,
perquè no destriïs el que és meu i el que és teu.

Cap estrella, cap fulla ha de caure
que no hagis de morir amb ella!
Així tu també amb totes elles
a cada hora renaixeràs.

2. Im Nebel
 (Sung text)
by August Reuss (1871 - 1935), "Im Nebel", op. 44 (Sechs Lieder für mittlere Singstimme) no. 2, published 1924 [ medium voice and piano ]
Language: German (Deutsch)
Seltsam, im Nebel zu wandern!
Einsam ist jeder Busch und Stein,
Kein Baum sieht den andern,
Jeder ist allein.

Voll Freunden war mir die Welt,
Als noch mein Leben licht war;
Nun, da der Nebel fällt,
Ist keiner mehr sichtbar.

Wahrlich, keiner ist weise,
Der nicht das Dunkel kennt,
Das unentrinnbar und leise
Von allen ihn trennt.

Seltsam, im Nebel zu wandern!
Leben ist Einsamsein.
Kein Mensch kennt den andern,
Jeder ist allein.

2. En la boira
Language: Catalan (Català)
És estrany caminar en la boira!
Solitaris estan els matolls i les pedres,
cap arbre veu l’altre,
tots estan sols.

Per a mi el món era ple de joia,
quan encara era llum la meva vida,
ara, que la boira cau,
de joia, no se’n veu cap més.

En veritat, ningú és assenyat
si no coneix la foscúria,
el que és indefugible, silent,
el distancia de tot.

És estrany caminar en la boira!
Viure és ser solitari.
Cap home coneix l’altre,
tothom està sol.

3. Herbstbeginn
 (Sung text)
by August Reuss (1871 - 1935), "Herbstbeginn", op. 44 (Sechs Lieder für mittlere Singstimme) no. 5, published 1924 [ medium voice and piano ]
Language: German (Deutsch)
Der Herbst streut weiße Nebel aus,
Es kann nicht immer Sommer sein!
Der Abend lockt mit Lampenschein
Mich aus der Kühle früh ins Haus.

Bald stehen Baum und Garten leer,
Dann glüht nur noch der wilde Wein
Ums Haus, und bald verglüht auch der,
Es kann nicht immer Sommer sein.

Was mich zur Jugendzeit erfreut,
Es hat den alten frohen Schein
Nicht mehr und freut mich nimmer heut -
Es kann nicht immer Sommer sein.

O Liebe, wundersame Glut,
Die durch der Jahre Lust und Mühn
Mir immer hat gebrannt im Blut -
O Liebe, kannst auch du verglühn?

i avui ja no em fa fruir,
l’estiu no pot durar per sempre.

Oh amor, estrany ardor,
que a través dels anys amb goig i pena
m’ha sempre cremat a la sang –
Oh amor, et pots tu també extingir?
