Mein Schatzerl is hübsch
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  DUT
Mein Schatzerl is hübsch,
Aber reich is et nit.
Was nützt mir der Reichtum?
Das Geld küss i nit.
Schön bin i net, reich bin i wohl,
Geld hab' i a ganz Beutel voll,
Geh'n mir nur drei Batzen ab,
Dass i grad' zwölf Kreuzer hab'.
Mein Schatzerl is hübsch,
Aber reich is et nit.

Mein Schatzerl is fromm,
Is so herzig, so gut,
Und gibt's mi a Busserl,
So wächst mi der Mut.
Drum gilt's mi mehr als alles Gold,
Is mi mein Schatzerl hold,
Und wenn i stets bei ihm blieb,
Wär's mi um eins so lieb!
Mein Schatzerl is treu,
Wie hab' ich es so lieb.

Mijn schatje is leuk
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)  after the German (Deutsch)
Mijn schatje is leuk,
Echter, rijk is ze niet.
Wat baat mij toch rijkdom?
Het geld kus ik niet.
Mooi ben ik niet, rijk ben ik wel,
Geld zit in mijn buidel knel.
Raak ik slechts drie duiten kwijt,
Nog twaalf kreutzer heb ‘k geheid.
Mijn schatje is leuk,
Echter, rijk is ze niet.

Mijn schatje is lief,
Is zo hart’lijk, zo goed,
En krijg ik een zoentje,
Dan groeit ook mijn moed.
Zij is mij meer dan alle goud,
‘k Zó van mijn schatje houd.
En als ik steeds blijf bij haar,
Houd ik nog meer van haar!
Mijn schatje is trouw,
Wat heb ik haar toch lief!
