Die Sonne ist untergegangen, die Nacht bricht langsam hervor, mit sausendem Flügelschlage streicht der Birkhahn ins Moor. In dem düsteren Moore, da ist es schon lange Nacht, in meiner verflossenen Seele kein frischer Flügelschlag wacht. In das Moor ohne Wege und Stege zieht es mich mächtig hinein, in dem pfadlosen Moore wird für mich Frieden sein.
