Wer weiß, woher das Brünnlein quillt, Daraus wir trinken werden? Wer weiß, wo noch das Schäflein geht, Das für uns Wolle träget? Wer weiß, wer uns den Tisch noch deckt, Der unsern Körper weidet? Wer weiß, wer uns den Weg noch zeigt, Darauf wir wandern müssen? Wer weiß, wo wohl da Bettlein steht, Darin mich Gott einleget? Ach, treuer Vater, das weißt du, Dir ist ja Nichts verborgen.
