Leis auf zarten Füssen naht es,
vor dem Schlafen wie ein Fächeln:
Horch, o Seele, meines Rates,
laß dir Glück und Tröstung lächeln-:

Die in Liebe dir verbunden,
werden immer um dich bleiben,
werden klein und große Runden
treugesellt mir dir beschreiben.

Und sie werden an dir bauen,
unverwandt, wie du an ihnen, -
und, erwacht zu Einem Schauen,
werdet ihr wetteifernd dienen!
