Du bist ja niemal fern von mir

You are never far from me
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
You are never far from me
Because I carry you deep within my heart!
This maxim stifles every one of my laments:
"You are never far from me!"
Yet my heart always longs for you
Even though I so often say to myself:
"You are never far from me
Because I carry you deep within my heart."
